JR41969 TEST NPM Engineer

A Test New Product Management Engineer is responsible for ensuring engineering execution runs are executed in timely fashion without any interruptions from 4Ms perspectives and ensuring the KPIs meet the target. You should know on the latest product qualification from time to time and ensuring all the 4M readiness associated with that.

you will provide a Manufacturing Commit Date to Sample Planner for meet the Customer Business Requirement in weekly to daily planning horizon for your product NPI demand lines, considering of capacity needs/analysis for production requirements and support Product Engineer special requirement. Provide Readiness check before lot start to prevent the abnormal production during NPI phase, make sure the NPI WIP running well with best delivery and best CT. Material check list coordinator for all engineering purpose to make sure each special NPI project material no shortage.

You will work collaboratively with Global Supply Chain and the Sample Planner, Product Engineer, Product Integration Engineer and Site Team (Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Logistics) to ensure commitment are delivered in a timely manner.

Confirm the delivery request to meet per each customer request.

Production scheduling and output planning to meet demand plan on time, based on inventory availability, capacity constraints, cycle time considerations, yield and any other factors. Usage of software/system tools (MAM/NPI Demand tool) to improve planning and production efficiency. Make sure wafer supply and engineering working instruction available for Assembly start load to line.

Oversee & executing to meet daily demand from order requirement to ensure the demand is fulfill on time.

Communicate priorities/special instructions and resolve issues between various departments towards meeting customer demands. Provide details on lot prioritization to Manufacturing in order to meet customer demands. Analyze key performance indices for production areas and highlight gaps for efficiency/performance improvements. Understand and track production plan misses and backfill these into subsequent week’s plan as required. Support customer special request during NPI Phase and coordinate Site stakeholders.

Provide Tactical-Period Capacity Plan and Priorities 

Communicate NPI Weekly Capacity Allocation with its Tactical Period Constraints, Issues, Priorities, and Special Instructions Setting/Managing Allocation for Production and other activities (Engineering, Equipment, etc.). Ensure accurate capacity model through periodic audits and validation of workstation performance. Design and/or enhance models as needed in order to provide the right accuracy or functionality.

Manage Global Inventories 

WIP management within the Sample Planning projection to optimize cycle time. Work with Product Engineer and Site Manufacturing to manage Slow Moving, Aged Inventory and Hold Inventory periodically to lead to optimal inventory level globally.

Knowing current product qualification status

transfer, successful qualification and ramp to HVM on time of Micron memory packages (NVM). The Assembly New Product Management Engineer is responsible to meet the project milestone and meet the assembly, test and reliability requirement of the package. He/She must interface with package design team, define/develop BOM and process flow, a point of contact with the Product Engineering Group, Quality and Reliability Group, Test and Post Electrical group as well as the External Manufacturing Engineering. He/She will act as project manager of the product he owns, prepare specs, engineering instruction, assembly reports that are required for product release and qualifications.
