Job Description

This position reports functionally and administratively to the Distribution Manager. The incumbent will be expected to work in a matrix organization to provide fleet driver management to all the fleets and drivers assigned in each Terminal. The position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating fleet management operation at all the assigned location including creating and managing the annual LB Distribution operational and EH&S KPIs. Work will be completed by insource and/or using both permanent and approve contracted outsource vendors. The incumbent will be expected to assist Distribution Manager to achieving the company’s targets for the continued improvement plan and ongoing performance of fleet operations, its reliabilities, managing workload thru effective use of the available APCI resources supplemented by contract services as needed. Resolution of fleet and driver issues on a day-to-day basis is expected with guidance from Distribution Manager, Driver Safety Trainer (DST), EH&S, SBS, Supply Chain & ASU as needed.

The incumbent is responsible for learning and following plant safety, health and environmental procedures and regulations and assuring they are followed in his organization. From time to time, the incumbent will assist Distribution Manager in update or write procedures as needed.
