We have the perfect opportunity for you As our Senior Creative Designer / Project Manager, you will be leading the team at the forefront of innovation, collaborating closely with head office management to shape overall design strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction and Design Process Oversight

  • Work closely with the head-office management to understand overall design strategies.
  • Lead and inspire a team of designers to create visually appealing designs for EDMs, websites, landing pages, social media, and display ads.
  • Set creative direction and standards for the team, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality brand representation.Oversee the entire design process, ensuring timely delivery from concept to execution.
  • Ensure cohesive and effective design across various marketing channels, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Provide strategic insights on design approaches that resonate with the target audience and align with client goals.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop creative concepts aligned with client objectives and industry trends.

 Project Management:

  • Act as a key liaison between headquarters and the local team, ensuring smooth communication and project coordination.
  • Lead and coordinate design projects for EDMs, websites, landing pages, social media, and display ads.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives, translating them into actionable design strategies.

People Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the marketing team in Malaysia, managing workflow and priorities. Provide strong leadership to the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for local team members, addressing their needs and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project priorities, challenges, and successes.

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Art, Psychology, Business Management, or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in design/marketing project management within a design or advertising services provider.
  • Strong leadership skills with a successful track record of managing and motivating creative teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, able to create and execute detailed project plans.
  • Coordination expertise to manage different teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality project completion.
  • Demonstrated ability in personnel and project management, as well as internal communication coordination.
  • In-depth understanding of the Malaysian market and culture.
  • Ability to adjust design strategies based on local needs.
  • Capable of collaborating with a diverse cultural team, promoting diversity and inclusivity.
