Cafe Associate

Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Assist customers with their inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Provide information about products or services.
Take and process customer orders accurately.

Order Processing:
Handle cash transactions, provide change, and process electronic payments.
Input orders into a computerized system or POS (Point of Sale) terminal.
Ensure order accuracy and completeness before serving or delivering to customers.

Food and Beverage Preparation (for roles in the food industry):Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.

Table Service (for roles in restaurants or cafes):Set and clear tables.
Take and serve orders to customers.
Ensure a clean and inviting dining area.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean and maintain work areas, including dining and kitchen areas.
Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow service crew members.

Compliance with Policies and Regulations:
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Problem Resolution:
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Report any issues or discrepancies to management.

Upselling:
Suggest additional items or upgrades to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.

Multitasking:
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, especially during peak hours.

Flexibility:
Willingness to take on various responsibilities and adapt to changing work environments.

Requirements:

Must be able to work on rotational shifts including weekends & public holidays
