Our client, a prominent player in commodities warehousing and freight forwarding across 30+ countries, specializes in customized logistics, storage, and supply chain solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the FP&A Manager in financial performance management, stakeholder collaboration, and advisory services, aiming to enhance resource deployment, strategic benchmarking, business evaluation, and budget planning
  • Aiding in financial reporting and analysis for the APAC Regional team
  • Playing a key role in budget planning and consolidation efforts
  • Improving operational efficiency and business performance through process enhancements
  • Assisting in master data maintenance, identifying system requirements and gaps, and coordinating with Group IT
  • Becoming a proficient BI user, crafting and overseeing a new BI Dashboard, and ensuring optimal tool functionality
  • Serving as the primary resource for generating new reports
  • Acting as a finance partner to develop a comprehensive understanding of the APAC market and operations of all entities in the region
  • Conducting APAC P&L consolidation tasks
  • Developing new reports and maintaining existing Excel reports for business performance evaluation
  • Undertaking ad-hoc responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Possession of an Accounting or Finance degree from a reputable local or international university
  • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in the Finance department of a multinational corporation
  • Proficiency in Excel with a mandatory background in Power Pivot, Power Query, and Power BI
  • Familiarity with Oracle is advantageous
  • Capability to manage extensive datasets and create allocation logic based on business insights
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional and diverse teams, as well as manage key stakeholders
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and autonomous work ethic
  • Keen eye for detail, along with outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and problems-solving abilities
  • Initiative to propose solutions and ensure follow-through on execution
  • High integrity and reliability with a strong focus on urgency and results-driven approach
  • Outstanding team player capable of working energetically under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin for interactions with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles
