Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between the Firm and relevant stakeholders (domestically or internationally) such as individual client, financial institution, government or statutory bodies for all aspects of legal matters.
  • Providing advice on legal compliance, corporate governance, shareholder and founder arrangements including mergers and acquisition, joint ventures, partnership structure and cross border investments.
  • Drafting, reviewing, vetting and preparing a broad range of corporate and commercial contracts.
  • Providing legal opinions to clients and formulating strategies, problem solving/solutions on the file/case handled by conducting extensive legal research.
  • Efficiently attend to client's file and deadlines, correspondences and to provide regular reporting to Principal Partner on client/files/case handled.
  • Proactively exploring opportunities for the purpose of expanding and developing the Firm's business and network.
  • Follow up payment for Professional Charges & Disbursement billed to client.
  • Practice legal compliance and risk control, which may include participating in training and educational sessions.
  • Keep abreast with all relevant legislations and regulations
  • Keep and maintain proper record of client.
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably expected and required by the Firm which commensurate with the level of post.

RM4, RM8,000.00 per month
