Reports to Plant Manager / Management

  • Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems throughout the biogas power plant. This includes generators, switchgear, transformers, control panels, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Take charge of the safe electrical and mechanical operation of the entire power plant, including the Interconnection Facility. Ensure all electrical and instrumentation installations are in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols for the site, promoting and practicing safe work practices in accordance with Company safety rules, OSHA regulations, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga guidelines.
  • Actively engage in safety improvement efforts and safety awareness programs for all electrical and mechanical systems within the biogas power plant.
  • Lead or assist in emergency response procedures during electrical emergencies or breakdowns, taking prompt actions to safeguard personnel and equipment while working to restore normal operations.
  • Report and notify the Plant Manager of any plant trips or sudden shutdowns that may occur.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control related to electrical maintenance and projects within the biogas power plant.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, especially regarding sensitive plant information.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Plant Manager/Management as and when is necessary.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/Sijil in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent, or poses an electrical certificate of competency A0 or A
  • Charman certificate
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks as directed.

RM RM6,000.00 per month
