Skills
- Must possess the ability to operate basic hand tools, tape measuring, calipers and overhead cranes.
- Must be able to read drawings and interpret drawings including welding symbols.
- Able to speak and read Malay, English, or Mandarin.
Qualifications
- MIG 3G Welding Certificates.
- At least 3 years MIG & Arc welding working experiences in relevant industry.
Responsibilities
- Complete the tasks given according to the timeline given.
- Set up and maintain welding machines including changing welding wire, gas and operate the oxy fuel equipment
- Identify the type of joints and welds in the drawings and follow the Stinis Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Inform the welding supervisor/production supervisor and QC Inspector immediately when nonconforming parts detected.
- Undertake and execute all works in a safe manner by complying with relevant laws, regulations, procedures, protocols and codes of practice to safeguard for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) of own self, other people and properties at workplace.
- Other adhoc tasks directed by the superior/management.
