It follows the Australia-Victorian Curriculum, which is exclusive to the school. There is flexibility in subject choices, offering options for both specialized study and general education. The school offers the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) qualification, recognized by universities globally.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a dynamic team. As a Year 4 Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students in their academic, social, and emotional growth during their formative years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the Curriculum across various subjects.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment methods and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units of study and foster a cohesive learning experience.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall well-being and success of students.
  • Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Teaching certification/license
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Australia-Victorian Curriculum and primary pedagogy
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
