Identify target market and carry out market research to keep up to date with customer trends, competitor analysis as well as future trends

  • Assist to Develop, present and implement approved strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
  • Manage promotional activities and projects to ensure appropriate execution with suppliers/ printers/ agencies and monitor its progress, and present the outcome against the targeted objective.
  • Write copy for marketing material such as brochures and websites.
  • Assist in marketing budgets and ensure that all marketing activities are managed within budgets
  • Liaise with media, printers and publishers as required and manage the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters, banners and newsletters (including enewsletters).
  • Write and distribute approved press releases.
  • Manage photo shoots and update mailing databases.
  • Carry out periodic customer surveys to understand demand and manage brand positioning, and present findings.
  • Liaise with events coordinators to maximise visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions including compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate.
  • In charge of social media accounts & monthly postings to generate interest and monitor activity.
  • Manage periodic analysis of marketing efforts and campaigns.
  • Assist Operation Department with planogram compilation that is compliance for retail products that should be placed on retail shelves or displayed at the Point of Sale (POS) to increase customer purchases, and also in an effort to achieve suppliers'incentives.
  • Develop inhouse memo for all upcoming marketing campaigns/ projects to inform all stakeholders appropriately.
  • Assist HR Department with recruitment and retention material by supporting & suggesting appropriate media platform & improve messaging.
  • Develop crossmarketing campaigns within brands our company manage.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Company as and when deemed necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any related field
  • Fresh graduates may be considered.
  • Have proficient knowledge of the structure and content of the English, Malay, and Mandarin languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to communicate and collaborate with other people
  • Have proficient knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (in a retail environment)
  • Have proficient knowledge of digital and social media platforms, content development & managing of accounts & data collection
  • Have proficient knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Have proficient knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques
  • Strong understanding of the social media/ digital marketing & content development

Salary:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
