Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of used and fabricated shipping containers to customers.

Order Processing:

  • Work closely with the sales team to accurately process orders, maintaining a high standard of precision and timeliness.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on order status and delivery times.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve logisticsrelated issues or complaints promptly, working collaboratively with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage inventory levels to guarantee products are readily available for sale, optimizing stock levels for operational efficiency.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor transportation costs, negotiate rates with carriers, and ensure costeffective delivery of products.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including shipping documents, delivery receipts, and invoices.
  • Prepare reports on logistics operations and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure the timely delivery of fabricated shipping containers.

Requirements:

  • Education: SPM/STPM/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in logistics coordination or sales coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and creative thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
  • Understanding of transportation regulations and industry trends.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred: Experience in sales and knowledge of the shipping container industry.

Salary

RM2, RM3,000.00
per month
