Overview:


We are urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Scientific Representative to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This role focuses on promoting molecular diagnostics tests in oncology and developing relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. This is a critical position that contributes to achieving sales targets and bridging scientific advancements with commercial objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to promote molecular diagnostic tests to healthcare professionals, including physicians, and other key decision-makers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for medical and scientific inquiries related to our services, providing accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct scientific presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate healthcare professionals on the clinical utility and benefits of our molecular diagnostics tests.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and execute commercial strategies aimed at increasing market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, actively prospecting and engaging with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), professional associations, and advocacy groups in the field of molecular diagnostics.
  • Stay updated of the latest scientific developments, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Collect and analyse market intelligence, including customer feedback and competitor activities, to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives, with commission offered for meeting or exceeding performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Life Sciences, Medical Bioscience, Biotechnology, or related discipline. Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare or life sciences industry, with a focus on molecular diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay required.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay:
RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
