The Opportunity


Our client is one of Australia's largest insurance companies focused on workers' compensation, risk management, claims management, and personal injury management.

Currently looking for a Compliance Support Officer to join the team in
Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this role is to provide compliance, risk and governance support to the Security & Governance function in delivering security, risk and governance practices across the Technology business area

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with compliance, governance and riskrelated activities and programs of work
  • Preparing responses to security questionnaires & assessment requests from the business with support
  • Assist with the development and execution of control testing procedures to assess the effectiveness of Technology/security controls across the Technology function
  • Regular liaison with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of actions and reports
  • Assist with compilation of regular updates and reporting requirements
  • Draft/develop correspondence, reports and presentations as required
  • Assist with completion of adhoc tasks, such as drafting communications and coordination of governance, compliance and risk activities as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Min Diploma / Degree in the relevant field
  • Experience working for an Australian company, or regulated entity, banking, finance, or insurance industry is desirable
  • Minimum 6 years of knowledge and experience in the areas of risk, governance or compliance, or a willingness to pick up these skillsets through onthejob training
  • Knowledge or experience in information security, compliance or governance related field
  • Superior time management and organization skills to direct and prioritize own work responsibilities and outcomes
  • Experience in delivering on outcomes in a Technology function
