Responsibilities:

  • Perform analyse of raw materials, process intermediate, finished products, competitor samples, boiler water and effluent according to standard test method.
  • Responsible to preparation and standardization of reagents and indicators.
  • Responsible to calibration, usage and maintenance of laboratory instruments/equipment.
  • Compiling test data into laboratory database system accurately.
  • Responsible to prepare and maintain the retained samples.
  • Assist in maintaining and handling general upkeep of documents to meet the ISO standards.
  • Receive and/or collect samples
  • Maintain inventory record of chemicals, apparatus, consumable etc
  • Implement laboratory waste disposal
  • Prepare sample for external testing, customer, custom etc
  • Responsible to overall housekeeping laboratory.

Requirements:

  • Preferably those with Diploma in Chemistry or should have minimum 2 years in QC laboratory experience.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 is an advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work shift, under pressure and perform within tight deadlines.
