Industrial Nurse

The Industrial Nurse is responsible for the primary nursing care towards the employees of Royal Selangor and will manage all administrative duties of the in-house clinic.

• Carry out emergency treatments and simple treatments for wounds and ailments.
• Carry out medical and health examinations such as, but not limited to, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol.
• Collect specimens for investigations and tracing results.
• Coordinate preemployment screenings

• Plan and organise efficient and effective administration of the clinic.
• Assist the visiting doctor with all matters relating to the clinic and employee's health and documentations.
• Issue guarantee letters (GL) and group personal accidents (GPA), organize referrals and appointments
• Liaise with hospitals, clinics and/or pharmacies and verify medical bills and medical certificates.
• Manage the clinic and pharmacy medication and first aid inventory, check expiration dates and submit relevant orders when necessary.
• Check and record all medical certificates (MC) issued and received.

• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Junior Executive specializing in Healthcare, Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and must be able to work under minimum supervision.

• Setapak: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

• Did you have an experience in working at the Manufacturing Company?
• Did you have Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and/or State Registered Nurse (SRN) Certification (Sijil LJM).
