KEY ROLES

  • To carry out research and training within department in the area of Economics, Financial Econometrics, Applied Economics, Financial Economics, Applied Econometrics and Analytical Economic.
  • To teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Section.
  • To carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs.
  • To supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate, taught graduate (Masters) or research graduate (PhD) students.
  • To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.
  • To participate in the administration of the department's programmes of study and other activities as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Obtained PhD in Economics / Applied Economics / Financial Economics / Analytical Economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years teaching and industry experience is preferable.
  • A strong research and publication track record are highly desirable.
  • Possesses a mature positive attitude and is a good team player.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal sills and abilities.
  • Technology savvy and willing to learn new teaching methods and strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with colleagues and students of all cultures and backgrounds.overall
