This position is concerned with supervising and be responsible for the smooth running of Laundry operation and communication centre of the Housekeeping Department

  • In charge of handling guest laundry to ensure highest quality service provided all time
  • Controls all guest laundry with proper and accurate monthly report.
  • Controls monthly expenses and in charge of cleaning supply ordering
  • Oversees that the linens and uniforms are well laundered
  • Supervises and carry out procedures set in Laundry.
  • Oversees the Linen Room and seamstress mending and sewing works.
  • Works closely with Team Leader Linen and outside launderette on matters relating to all linens, uniforms and guest laundry to ensure that finished products are of highest quality.
  • Ensure to up hold all standard operating procedure pertaining Linen and Laundry Department.
  • Supervise the cleanliness of the Laundry, Linen Room that all guest laundry, linens and uniforms are placed neatly on shelves and in order.
  • Team player with "handson" approach.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

  • Communicates closely with all Supervisors on matters relating to Housekeeping.
  • Prepares work schedule and vacation.
  • Skill trainings and refreshing trainings for employees whenever necessary.
  • Communicates closely with Food and Beverage Department on matters relating to all linens.
  • To assist other associate whenever needed.
  • Attends training conducted by Training Department
Any other duties assigned by Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Housekeeper from time to time.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
