Monitor the in-coming electrical supply

  • Operate the electrical standby generator system
  • Perform repair and maintenance works
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Assist in training staff on aspects of electrical safety
  • Assist in training staff in the safe operation of electrical facilities and equipment accessible to them
  • Adhere to Health, safety and Environment procedures while performing responsibilities
  • Facilitate in implementation of Quality Assurance to ISO 900
  • Ensure all relevant laws, statutes and regulations relating to electrical system and installation are complied with
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms and workshop facility
  • Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are calibrated and kept tidy and in place after use
  • To be 24 hours oncall duty as directed
  • Provide technical support and guidance for electrical service on a region basis
  • Periodically visit and inspect electrical services for all sites in the region and provide technical reports.
  • Perform any other duties as and when assign by the management.

Job Requirements:

  • Position requires a HT Chargeman Certification (B1/BO)
  • At least 5 years' experience in building/facilities maintenance, construction or consultation.

RM7, RM8,000.00 per month
