Job Description
- Develop and implement robust HSSE policies and procedures to uphold regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Lead strategic initiatives to promote a culture of safety, security, and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
- Oversee incident investigations and risk assessments, implementing preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSSE considerations into all aspects of business operations.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulatory changes, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve HSSE performance.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to HSSE staff and site teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management or related field
- More than 10 years of experience in HSSE leadership roles
- In depth knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards and best practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement
