Tax Assistant Manager

Responsibility
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify taxsaving opportunities.
- Provide expert tax advice to internal stakeholders on various business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, investments, and restructuring.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position.
- Manage and supervise a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of taxrelated information.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on the company's tax strategies and compliance.
- Conduct tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in tax management.
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant discipline and/or a professional qualification preferable in the areas of Finance / Accounting / Taxation
- At least 4 years of tax experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
- High technical ability and analytical skills
- Proactive, innovative and selfdriven
- Strong leadership and team management skills
