Company overview


Our client is Chemical Manufacturing stablished in 1974 as a manufacturer of high-quality, water-based additives, for the polymer latex, paints and adhesive industries.

Since our formation, we have confirmed ourselves as a world-leader in the manufacture of aqueous colloidal dispersions and emulsions. The Headquarters is located at a new multi-million pound, purpose built manufacturing facility in Halifax, England.

New Role:

  • Research and develop of new products which meet the business needs of customers and complies with the regulations of relevant statutory bodies.
  • Evaluate alternative raw material sources that support justification in terms of quality and cost.
  • Involve in collaboration with reputable research education institutions and industry stakeholders in developing new findings in product development.
  • Provide technical support to customers including conducting site or factory visits to coordinate trials and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to customers for the best and effective use of product in the manufacturing process.
  • Work with QC and Production team on quality and procedures improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct technical audits on internal processes to ensure compliance with the quality and standards required for the final products.
  • Engage in all safety initiatives in laboratory and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Other duties and activities may be required depending upon the overall needs of the business to compliance to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO14001 and ISO4500
  • Able to comply company requirement on Quality/ Health/ Safety and environment policy.

Requirement:

  • Degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science or related discipline (e.g., Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
  • Positive working attitude and proven team player.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
