Housekeeping Supervisor
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Your role is vital in maintaining a positive image of the property to our guests, and we expect you to be friendly, approachable, and adept at handling any issues or special requests that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive training to housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Supervise and manage the housekeeping team on a daily basis.
• Regularly inspect all rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounges, to ensure cleanliness.
• Create and manage staff schedules, arranging replacements in case of absences.
• Set and educate the team on high cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
• Motivate team members and address any workrelated concerns or conflicts.
• Handle customer complaints and accommodate special requests promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves.
• Participate in larger cleaning projects when required.
• Enforce safety and sanitation policies throughout all areas.
• Perform various housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and polishing guest rooms.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels and toiletries as needed.
• Assist guests with items on loan, such as irons and ironing boards.
• Ensure guest room security and respect guest privacy at all times.
• Complete rotation cleaning duties as necessary, including cleaning room curtains and other ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.

Hands-on experience in cleaning and maintenance tasks.

• Strong organizational and team management skills.
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

• Preferably, prior experience in a housekeeping role.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay keen attention to detail.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Capability to work independently and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Salary:
From RM1,700.00 per month
