Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on construction sites.

  • Ensure that all electrical work is performed according to project plans, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and oversee the work of onsite electrical teams and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to review progress and address any issues.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the quality of electrical installations.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in electrical work.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations onsite.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for electrical work.
  • Promote a culture of safety among site workers and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to project management and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on progress and any issues encountered.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Address and resolve any technical or logístical issues that arise during the project.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and contractors.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues onsite.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Competency Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience supervising electrical installations on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
  • CIDB Construction Site Supervisor Certification (CCS) is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
