Solutions Architect -Virtualization (English & Sinhala Language Support)

The responsibilities of the role:

  • Conduct technical investigations of customer reported issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams, engineers, and other third-party resources to investigate reported issues related to virtualization.
  • Provide input on product direction, design, and development.
  • Perform root cause analysis of customer reported issues.
  • Design solutions and evaluate the deployments.
  • Contribute to product documentation manuals and solution diagrams.
  • Assist in product training, customer meetings, and speaking engagements.
  • Maintain the systems up to the level of the industry and security standards.

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and networking. 5+ years of handson VMware virtualization and/or cloud experience.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Sinhala and English.
  • Professional and vendor certification for virtualization technologies (VMware /vSAN/Hyper-V).
  • Expert knowledge of vSphere, vRealized Operation, vCloud Director; experience with ESXi, vCenter and vMotion.
  • Knowledge in Window, Linux, Database, Backup technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of best practice VMware deployment techniques.
  • Work experience of business and mission critical environments.
