This role Reports to:
Lab Analyst

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment and utensils.
Inspect laboratory consumables and update inventory.
Prepare sterile media, chemicals, tools and consumables that are required for sampling and testing.
Sample water system, environmental monitoring (airborne) and equipment/ surface swab samples.
Inspect, sample and analyze Raw Material, Work inProcess and Finished Goods by following written procedure and work instruction.
Analyze and submit laboratory results within allocated time.
Maintain stock cultures and qualify new media.
Perform bacteria identification and maintain local isolates library.
Decontaminate glassware, and used media.
Implement Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity in data recording and record retention.
Verify accuracy of the equipment and arrange for equipment calibration by a qualified services provider.
Contact service provider for equipment preventive maintenance and repairing.
Read, understand and execute the requirements stated in the SOP that are relevant to the job responsibility.
Participate in the training and program organized in the plant that are relevant.
Participate in equipment or system qualification and requalification.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Microbiology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to read and write in English
Basic computer skills including Google Sheet/ Microsoft Excel or Google Docs/ Microsoft Word

Pay:
RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
