JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain boilers and ancillary equipment guided by established standard operation procedures in a safe manner. (Ensure fully compliance of DOSH, DOE and all other regulatory requirements at all times).
  • Responsible to ensure boiler and ancillary equipment operations are always maintain at optimum performance & efficiency with minimum downtime. (Continuous monitoring of operation indicators of steam pressure, temperature and steam flow requirements by paper production)
  • Responsible to carry out routine inspection of the equipment, record the defects and abnormal situation found during inspection, report to the shift leader. Attend to defects or abnormal situation if possible else fill equipment defects form accordingly.
  • Responsible to monitor and ensure optimum boiler combustion with good boiler fuel management.
  • Ensure steady reliable uninterrupted steam and power supply for paper operation plant by maintaining good communication and quick action respond.
  • Assist shift engineer in timely maintenance of boilers (including ancillary equipment), flue gas treatment system, fuel preparation and handling system.
  • Responsible to record all operational records, service reports, any incident report and maintain log books (as per legal requirement).
  • Responsible to monitor and take action to ensure good boiler water quality as per guidelines and sufficient quantity of boiler water for safe boiler operation together with water treatment operator.
  • Responsible to monitor and take action to ensure flue gas treatment system at optimum conditions and flue gas emission within DOE allowable limits at all times.
  • Assist shift engineer to test all boiler related safety device, procedure, emergency drills and accident preventive measures plan for boilers and flue gas treatment system.
  • Responsible for full compliance to all safety & health procedure, environmental procedures, hygiene procedures and 5S execution. Responsible to implement good housekeeping at production floor, and equipment at all times.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Integrity, Positive Attitude (including teachable, proactive, initiative, hardworking), Discipline, Loyalty and Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work at Bandar Mahkota Banting, Selangor.

Salary:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
