Data Analyst, Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean and analyze data from various sources, including sales transactions, customer demographics, inventory levels, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization to track key performance indivator (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, patterns and correlations in the data to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Sales, Products, Customer Database and marketing, to understand business requirements, define analytical objectives, and deliver solutions that address business needs.
  • Conduct adhoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns and operational improvements.
  • Utilize stastistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast sales, optimize inventory levels, and improve demand forecasting accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, data quality and data governance practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise presentation, reports, and visualization.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analystics and retail.
  • Assist in the development of datadriven strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction and optimize operational effieciency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field. Preferable Master Degree Holder.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in data analysis especially in Retail Industry.
  • Profienciency in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages used for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex infomation to nontechnical audiences.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in crossfunctional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operations, including sales, marketing, inventory management and supply chain.

Salary:
RM4, RM8,000.00 per month
