Junior Chemist

To carry out lab testing, evaluate raw materials, intermediate streams and finished products assuring conformity to established specifications to ensure quality while following safety guidelines.

• Carry out materials and product testing
• Perform quality work in tight deadline
• Follow up for research development of new products.
• Coordinate for sourcing for equipment, raw materials and new markets (demands).
• Ensure calibration and documentation for ISO (one of the selected Internal Auditor/ QMS community.
• Provide technical services/trouble shootings for finished products
• Write out technical report and result
• Assist in the R&D for new products and customer's requirements
• Assist in the Quality Control of raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out research on process enhancement, new material development, or new technology for quality improvement or cost down initiative.
• Technical support on the production process, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, and customer enquiry

• Possess minimum with Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
• 12 years' experience in a similar industry ( COLOR & PRINTING)
• Proficient in written & spoken English
• Good knowledge of laboratory health & safety standards
• Attention to details
• Independent; good initiative with teamwork
• Passionate in R&D and research work
• Based at kawasan Perusahaan Perai, Penang
