Job Description:

  • Plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patients care, incorporating risk assessment, to maximize functional independence and rehabilitation potential.
  • Communicate with patients and carers in order to positively develop therapeutic relationships.
  • Ability to co ordinate and priorities workloads able to multi task as well as be self disciplined and highly motivated.
  • Knowledge of how to use specialist equipment required for day to day use with specific patients e.
g. communication aids, special seating, standing frames etc.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Working experience in a hospital or Rehab Centre set up in the Return to Work Programme will be preferred.
  • Experience in working with patients who have a range of conditions, including Neurological, Musculoskeletal, Cardiovascular and Orthopaedic.
