Responsibilities

  • Carry out and lead negotiation, payment term, pricing with external provider.
  • To resolve situation such as quality issue, CoA, delivery issue.
  • Monitoring payment to suppliers
  • Ensuring that all raw material items are meet the required quality standards and specifications
  • Coordinate and support all internal departments with quotations in terms of products and services
  • Maintain all completed and updated purchasing records / data and pricing in the system.
  • Maintenance of approved External Provider/ Vendor list, Master file & relevant document in accordance with the company policies and procedures
  • To monitor External Provider Evaluation form and External Provider Performance
  • To monitor New Material Evaluation form
  • To work closely with other relevant departments and respond to enquiries / request
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by superior or management.
  • Comparing the prices of different vendors for gaining maximum ROI.
  • Negotiating contracts on reasonable terms for pricing and supply.
  • Tracking the orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Updating order details into our internal databases.
  • Issuing purchase reports including the cost analysis.
  • Ensuring stock availability and placing orders as and when required.
  • Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop purchasing plans and find potential vendors.
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest market and industry trends.

Education, Qualification, Experience and Skill Requirements.

  • Possess a Diploma or above in Supply Chain/ Procurement/Marketing/Business Administration/Business Studies or any other related fields.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in related field.
  • Proven track record of working as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Manager or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and policies.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office suite).
  • Ability to create reports and conduct a cost analysis.
  • Ability to make quick decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to accurately review the contracts.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A keen eye to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Job Types:
