Top reputable company is looking for a Head of Finance & Commercial to be based in Kedah, Alor Setar.

They are one of the top solution provider company in Malaysia. Now, they are looking for a Head of Finance & Commercial to be based at Kedah, Alor Setar.

Your new role

• Responsible for overseeing the Finance, Legal and Procurement divisions within the company.
  
• Mainly in charge of full spectrum of Accounting & Finance activities.
  
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
  
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  
• Manage the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  
• Provide analysis and insights on financial performance to senior management and the board of directors.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
  
• Oversee risk management activities, including insurance, hedging, and investment strategies.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and support strategic initiatives.
  
• Drive and take charge of strategic procurement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have chartered qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, MIA, ICAEW, CIMA etc.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance related field.
  
• At least 15-20 years of professional working experience in Accounting & Finance.
  
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and excellent in analytical and financial data sourcing skills.
  
• Good command of English - both written and oral.
  
• Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills.
