We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Japanese Chef De Partie to join our team at Starpac Point, Setapak branch.

As Chef De Partie, you will run the back-of-restaurant and responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
-

  • Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues especially Head Chef.
  • Place orders in a timely manner.
  • Preparing, cooking food, supervising junior chefs and making order lists on the section.
  • Chef will be in charge of a particular section within the restaurant's kitchen.
  • Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
  • Give attention productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and seniors.

Requirement:
-

  • Passed diploma / degree in culinary arts preferred
  • 3 years of experience at the backofhouse managements.
  • Strong attentions to details.
  • Creative in plating and constantly changing presentations.
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipments, tools and processes.
  • Ability to multitask and great time management skills.
  • Mature and can work under supervise.

Salary:
RM2, RM3,834.26 per month
