Cybersecurity Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's systems and data.

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigating and responding to security breaches, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Configure and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.
• Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Stay up to date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and provide recommendations to enhance our security posture.
• Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a securityconscious culture.
• Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and reports, implementing improvements to enhance security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Analyst, or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and experience in implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus/antimalware solutions, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with security incident response, including incident investigation, containment, and recovery.
• Knowledge of encryption technologies, secure coding practices, and secure network design principles.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
