The Senior
Draughtsman role involves producing high quality project design deliverables in architectural drafting of design consultancy and construction projects under the supervision of the Architecture Director, and working with Senior Design Architect. In essence, the Senior Draughtsman can work on any/all phases of development.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepares detailed conceptual and working drawings, specifications, and programming documents for comprehensive consultancy and construction projects.
  • Liaise with the engineers, architects and other divisions on draughting work requirements, to clarify and obtain information, and clarify the extent of work required.
  • Develop construction details that comply with the overall design intent and project budget.
  • Prepare complete and concise design and construction drawings including checking and coordinating details and dimensions.
  • Conduct site surveys for existing conditions and research materials for specific projects.
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant stateoftheart technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  • Supervise the work of the team, set schedules, and create administrative procedures.
  • Other duties and assignments to be assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in architecture or a related field.
  • 8 years of technical experience preferred.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills.
  • Strong communication, project management, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
  • Language communication: English and Bahasa
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM6PM; may work some weekends due to construction progress
  • Amenable to work in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
