Performs a variety of CAD design/drafting activities including preparing and updating drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings, establish guidelines and procedures for CAD data management.


  • Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
  • Prepare final drawings by studying engineering sketches, specification, and supporting documents etc.
  • Establish filing guidelines / document control for drawings to maintain uptodate drawings.
  • CAD database management and maintenance.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; conferring with engineers.
  • Collect information and other data regarding the design.
  • Coordination actual layout plan
  • Handle complex designing and draughting assignments under mínimal supervision
  • Work together with engineers regarding model/drawing accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation
  • Work closely with designers, engineers, drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintained
  • Review drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Update and maintain drafting log
  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings
  • Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team
  • Manage CAD checklist to minimise error in drawing as standard practise in view of draughter perspective.
  • Assist and support design team to meet deadline of submission (teamwork)

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
RM1, RM3,000.00 per month
