Aim of the job:

  • To support the Mill Manager in ensuring adherence to all Company operational policies and procedures

Main responsibilities and activities:

  • Ensure optimal maintenance of all mill machines for smooth operations
  • Supervise team in executing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Generate regular reports and maintain engineer's logbook for shift handovers
  • Adhere to quality standards within the mill
  • Establish preventive maintenance program for plant and equipment
  • Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Take prompt action in case of process losses exceeding limits and provide explanations for any deviations
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/MSPO standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of experience

Professional experience:

  • Holder of 2nd Grade Steam Engineers certificate of competency for Senior Mill Engineer
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage a team
  • Ability to organize manpower and delegate tasks
  • Proficient in preparing operational reports and documentation
  • Skilled in immediate troubleshooting as needed
