Tasks

  • We are looking for a software developer that defines the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the role of Web Application Developer with focus on JavaScript and other development languages. The person is responsible for developing tools used for technical documentation assessment team and for the project coordination (project assignment) and other internally used tools based on good coding practice and applicable standards for development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make necessary corrections and improvements based on feedback and testing results.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and practices.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work, and support and comply with all organizational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
  • The job holder has to behave at all times in a manner consistent with all applicable local laws, TÜV SÜD Company values and Code of Ethics and to actively promote this to others as well.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React Certification, Angular Certification) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Developer) are a plus.
  • Clear and articulate presentation ability with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript programming language, including ES6/ES7 features and best practices
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, with the ability to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces. Proficiency in CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with frontend development tools and workflows, including package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn), build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic knowledge of backend technologies such as , , or other serverside frameworks. Ability to integrate frontend components with serverside logic and databases.
  • Travelling within ASEAN countries will be required
