Tvet Officer

Contributes to revising the TVET strategy; in close collaboration with the stakeholders and key policy makers to reflect the overall objective of the government in the document and a situation analysis shall also be done as part of preparation for revision of the TVET strategy.

• Participate in technical working groups and discussions related to the TVET strategy and support the company in conducting consultations with TVET stakeholders to provide input to the policy document and new project developments.
• Coordinate and strengthen the relation with relevant stakeholders (Govt institutions and NGOs) to successfully implement the targeted activities in field.
• TVET Officer will support team to conduct a need analysis and market assessment in each targeted province to identify relevant trades or occupations that are in demand among target groups in the community.
• Identify the final suite of training that will be offered to the project beneficiaries in the targeted areas, at provincial level.
• Develop & organize onthejob refresher training to address any gaps and build the capacity of individuals and departments targeted by the project.
• She/ He will support the participant who is currently not in any form of wage or selfemployment will be matched to their preferred trades and enrolled them into the vocational training component and others.
• Support project activities and field staff to adapt and enhance existing course materials and curriculum where available.
• Providing technical advice and Conducting of Training for field staff on safeguarding.
• Ensure regular coordination with Government officers to find out the gap /deviation for on time correction and decision in order to achieve project objective successfully.
• Regularly evaluate the impact of all conducted training.
• Keep the perfect record and filing system of the project activities and do the proper data collection.
• Supporting the management in implementation of another educational project.
• Regular and on need field visits from the project site.
• On occasions, for the benefit of the Company, you may be required to undertake other duties as required by management.
• All other work & business related matters as required by the management.

• Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional Certificate in Business and any other related studies

• At least 23 years of work experience in the field of TVET
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multiethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
• Highly developed analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with a range of government and industry stakeholders.
• Must be a team player with initiative and demonstrated ability to work in a challenging work environment.
