Duties & Responsibilities

Screening and dispensing of drugs for In-Patient and Out-Patient Departments.
Inventory control of Dangerous Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs to ensure the stock balance is current and up to date.
Responsible for correct charging of drugs by order entry of patients and counter checking of prescriptions for In-Patient and Out-Patient Departments.
Perform Cashiering duties while dispensing of drugs to patients.
To check expiry date of drugs and report to Pharmacist if any.
To support Quality Assurance activities including collection of data for analysis and improvement of service.

Requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy, must be computer literate.
Well spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Communication with other departments in the hospital is vital. Be proactive to continuous learning and selfdevelopment.
Has contact with doctors, staff nurses, patients and their relatives which requires good communication at all time.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Healthcare
Pharmacy or equivalent.
