Job Requirement

Responsibilities:

  • To assist Dean / Director on matters related to Act / Statures / Constitution / Rules / Regulations / Circulars.
  • To assist Dean in aspects of planning, governing, directing, coordinating, controlling, implementation, reporting.
  • To manage and prepare annual business plan with the Dean, management of budget, petty cash.
  • To manage and become secretariat to main / periodical / ad-hoc meetings in faculty. It includes calling for meeting, logistics, refreshment (if any), preparation of working papers, invitation to attendees, taking minutes and reporting. All reports to be conveyed to the university management and where appropriate to the Ministry of Education.
  • To manage all matters related to undergraduate and postgraduate students from intake to graduation (course registration, exemption, add & drop, timetable, dismissal case, academic calendar, warning letter, conditional offer letter, attendance list, Dean's List and Best Student Award).
  • To manage / monitor all co-curriculum activities / community services so that they comply with rules and regulations of the authority.
  • To manage programme marketing and programme promotion in conjunction with the marketing department.
  • To manage space / assets / office equipment / writing-off in conjunction with the Asset Manager and the Finance Department.
  • To assist the management of programme audit and accreditation in conjunction with the Internal audit and Academic Development and Quality Assurance Department.
  • To manage correspondence and filing system.
  • To plan, coordinate and supervise of personnel / staff under charge.
  • To assist the academic team in management of activities / programs / talks / visits.
  • To prepare faculty annual report or other form of publication.
  • To perform the duty as a Protocol Officer / Public Relations Officer / media relation at faculty.
  • To keep record / database of faculty.
  • To prepare and send letters to parents relating to academic matters.
  • To liaise with the external examiners of programmes on matters related to question papers and programme improvement.
  • To liaise with the dean and examination unit on the assignment of teaching loads for academic staff.
  • Any other tasks / duties as instructed from time to time by the faculty Dean.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kajang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
