Main Accountabilities:

  • Proactively identify, report on and improve safety related issues in immediate working environment using available tools and systems.
  • Carry out basic fluid properties test such as total solid content, pH, viscosity, particle size, redox potential and others.
  • Assist chemist(s) to carry out some basic experiments.
  • Carry out housekeeping at workplace when required.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by supervisor.
  • To be aware and adhere to the overall SHE & quality policies of the company.

Expected Deliverable:

  • To provide the lab run log sheet with detail information and observation.
  • To check and update the QC result of the tested samples.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operation of OIT activity in Polymer Lab area (zero accident).
  • To take part in SHE related activities organized by the department and site.
  • To support R&D in general lab maintenance task such as housekeeping and audits.
  • Performance requested SHE tasks in due time.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Chemical Sciences or Chemical Engineering:

2-3 years Production Support or Product Improvement Experience:

Fresh graduates with laboratory experience are welcome to apply

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, including English
  • Good taskbased approach to work with a level of independence.
  • Proactively identify, report on, and improve lab findings.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail are required. The ability to work well with others is necessary.

  • The job requires
    5 days of work per week and the ability to
    work additional overtime less than 4 hours per day.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
RM1, RM2,200.00 per month
