  • To ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly group management accounts with fluctuation analysis.
  • To ensure timely preparation of quarterly consolidation and report for the announcement to Bursa Malaysia.
  • To assist in preparation of Group's budgeting and forecasting process.
  • To liaise with external auditors for annual audit and ensure timely issuance of audited financial statements.
  • To ensure timely coordination and preparation of the Group's Annual report.
  • To ensure timely submission of tax returns of the company and subsidiaries.
  • To coordinate and oversee the Group's Transfer Pricing documentation.
  • To be part of team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating of group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
  • To liaise with internal audit on subsidiaries' quarterly internal audit report.
  • To assist in ensuring improvement in accounting systems and processes.
  • To analyse the monthly results of the business units and provide advice to improve the efficiency of the business units' operations.
  • Any other Ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA MICPA/ CIMA.
  • At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Audit background is a must.
  • Experience in Retail industry is a plus.
  • Possesses good analytical, prepare, checking and balancing routine fiscal transactions and accounts.
  • Command strong knowledge of IFRS / MFRS accounting standards.
  • Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable.
  • A steady personality, knowledgeable in supervisory and management techniques.
  • Well verse with ERP or Accounting software.
  • Possess a balance in confidentiality and transparency and neutral in executing and supervising company policy and procedures.
