JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Possess Diploma or Bachelor in Nursing from recognized university/ institutions.
  • Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practise as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 1 year experience in related field.
  • Possess post basic in ICU/ Renal/ Pediatric/ Midwifery/ Perioperative/ Trauma/ Orthopedic would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Caring, honest and responsible worker.
  • Willingness to work on scheduled hours, shift and weekends, public holidays, on call and anytime when called during emergency.
  • Microsoft Office literacy.
  • Those without Post Basic Certification and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Understand and carries out the nursing care in line with Vision and Mission Statements, Goals and objectives.
  • Work shift duties or assigned by Unit Manager according to Unit's Operational Hours.
  • Inform Unit Manager when change occurs in circumstances which affect standards of care.
  • Receives and handover report of patients, knows the case in details progress of the patient, ensures all doctors' orders are carried out before shift change and on taking over case.
  • Follow doctors / consultants ward round and assists them in doing procedures when required.
  • Liaises and discusses with the relevant doctors / consultants with regards to care of patients in the unit / ward.
  • Establishes and develops effective communication with all disciplines, patients and relatives to achieve optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Participates in the health education of patients and their families in the ward.

RM2, RM5,000.00 per month
