**Duties & Responsibilities:
- *
  • Assist Safety & Environmental Manager in implementation of scheduled safety inspection at night/day through the workplace inspection, behavioral based safety and manager with the respective department to close findings and effective corrective actions.
  • Involve in the inspection all areas of facility for unsafe or unhealthy conditions, initiates corrective action as necessary and ensuring safety of the TM and company property.
  • Assist in the implement of the contractor management system from the safety induction, Permit to Work(PTW) management including monitoring and ensuring contractors are adhere to the safety and health requirement.
  • Implement plant level incident management program which will meet or exceed all legal and corporate minimum standards including management of first aid rooms, maintenance of first aid equipment's inspection of the emergency equipment : SCBD, AED, Emergency Assembly Equipment's.
  • Provide treatment for minor ailments and provide first aid treatment to injuries, follow up and referrals and emergency care for job related injuries and illness at night shift.
  • Conduct partial and full emergency evacuation drills( fire accident, chemical, spillage etc) for night shift as per company requirement with supervision from manager.
  • Promote the safety, health, awareness at the plant operative level by participate in the SHE Score Programmed, SOR, EOR and engagement activity.
  • Deliver a basic safety and health operational training and briefing to TM, contractor as and when necessary.
**Qualification/Experience:
- *
  • Minimum Diploma holder in Occupational Safety & Health or attending Safety and Health Officer Course or OSH Coordinator.
  • Preferably 15 years experience in contractor management of incident Management.
  • Registered OSH Coordinator in an advantage.
  • At least 13 years involvement in manufacturing.
  • Must have very good English & Malay spoken and written, Nepal/Bangladesh language is an advantage.
**Technical Competencies:
- *
  • Working knowledge on manufacturing safety technical.
  • Strong handson on effective and advance SHE inspection with the ability to track and close findings.
  • Knowledge on the incident investigation and analysis.
  • Working knowledge on safety and health requirement in Malaysia as such scaffolding requirement etc.
  • Ability to conduct and handle emergency situation as such fire, chemical spill and etc.
  • Able to conduct first aid treatment to the injury.
**Behavioral Competencies:

  • Must have the confidence to speak and present to groups of senior people.
  • Can work independently without closed day to day supervision.
  • Ability to excel with limited direction, self managed.
  • Capable of leading presentation in front of various groups including employee and contractors.
  • Outstanding communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, with a history of communicating effectively and persuasively in both large small groups.
**Other Requirement:

  • Preparedness to take a very flexible approach to working hours to cater shifts including public holiday.
  • Ability to execute any jobs assigned by the management other than safety and health related.

Pay:
RM3, RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary
  • Yearly bonus
