About the Role

Delivering our customers with an effortless and frictionless experience across their interactions with Swift while increasing their autonomy is what our Tribe is all about As the Customer Interaction (CI) Tribe we are on a mission to improve these end to end interactions and are therefore evolving our significant technology stack.

Two years into our journey we are progressing with the consolidation and renewal of this technology and are looking for a skilled software engineer to join us in delivering the next phase towards our customer commitment.


What to expect

  • You will work within an agile development squad and be accountable for analyzing business requirements and provide sound technical solution.
  • You will design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems in line with agreed requirements. Quality is part of everything you do.
  • You will design and implement integration and automated tests.
  • You will develop and maintain technical documentation, prepare and give presentations to other team members, management and customers.
  • You will provide timing/scheduling estimates to squad Product Owner and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary.
  • You will work collaboratively with other squad members and provide guidance to more junior squad members.
  • You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with solutions delivery peers and other IT Delivery partners.
  • You will demonstrate customer centricity by working closely together with the internal customer.

What will make you successful?

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years (6 years for senior) of software development experience preferably in a multinational/multicultural environment.
Technical skills and competencies

  • Musthaves
  • Experience with Java development framework (i.e. core and web Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, RESTful services, Junit, Tomcat, Eclipse)
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks (i.e. Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with webservice related technologies: XML, Ajax, JSON, RESTFul webservice
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery build environment: GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Coverage and Static/Dynamic
  • Nicetohaves
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Ansible or any other platform automation tools
  • Knowledge in virtualisation and containerization concepts and technologies (i.e. VMware, vSphere, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with the Agile development methodology
