We are looking for a Construction Supervisor who will oversee on-site construction of theme park projects.

The Construction Supervisor must ensure that quality of construction work meets international standards, accurately follow design specifications and completed under strict deadlines.

This construction supervisor will spend at least 80% of his/her time outdoors on site and not in the office.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines
  • Great time management and problemsolving skills

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
  • Enforcing site safety rules to minimize workrelated accidents and injuries.
  • Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
  • Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
  • Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
  • Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Assesses safety and finance goals.
  • Manages subcontractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
  • Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
  • Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
  • Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Sim Leisure Group is seeking a Construction Manager with similar values. He or She will manage and oversee on-site construction of adventure park project.

The Construction Manager must ensure that quality of construction work meets international standards, accurately follow design specifications and completed under strict deadlines.


He or she will be expected to ensure compliance with all federal and state procedures, regulations, and codes, and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis.

Objectives of this Role

  • Provide timely status reports to stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
  • Manage and oversee work site, coordinating site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives
  • Oversee and provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork ensuring quality standards are met
  • Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists, and hire fulltime and parttime subcontractors and laborers, and coordinate their schedules
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, assuring working environment is maintained at acceptable levels, and tools and equipment are in good working condition
  • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions

Salary:
RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
