Academic & Student Affairs Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

A. Administrative Duties

  • Work with the Deputy Principal and Deputy Head of Student Affairs in the organization and administration of all Student Affairs related matters.
  • Create, update and file the various forms and documents required by the Student Affairs Department.
  • Ensure student contributions and achievements are kept uptodate in the school portal.
  • Record meeting minutes for Academic meetings.
  • Ensure that the assigned notice board displays updated news.
  • Prepare the exemption and dismissal cards after approval.
  • Provide support in all events and programmes under the Student Affairs Department.
  • Handle logistics for field trips and camps including the booking of vans and buses.
  • Preparation of awards and/or tokens of appreciation for various student programmes.
  • Preparation of rewards for CSR boxes and snack bags monthly.
  • Oversee the Compassion Projects of the Junior and Senior School.
  • Oversee and monitor the attendance details of the various programmes and projects organised by the Student Affairs Department.
  • Assist the school nurse during the School's vaccination day.
  • Ensure all classes are fully equipped and ready at the start of a school year.
  • Work with the Purchasing and Finance Department in relation to stationeries and invoices for classrooms and any events.

B. General Administration

  • Assist in school events and functions.
  • Perform any adhoc tasks as delegated by the Line Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a related educational position.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office and any other softwares which may be useful for the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate in a second language would be an added advantage.
  • Able to work efficiently on adhoc tasks, while demonstrating enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration and parents.
  • Emotionally mature and possesses flexibility to work in a diverse environment.
