Responsibilities:

a) To provide professional consultation to customers.
b) To achieve monthly personal sales target.
c) To ensure accuracy of refraction skill.
d) Helps customers with fitting glasses or contact lenses, after obtaining prescriptions from Optometrists.
e) To solve customer's complaints wisely.
f) Advises customers on the styles and characteristics of eyewear to best suit their needs.
g) Perform thorough routine eye inspections.
h) Identify the patient's visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
i) Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness.
j) Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
k) Promote eye health by teaching customers about proper eye care techniques.
l) Work closely with other departments on updating policies and procedures.
m) Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc job /
project as and when required by the direct superior from time to time.
n) Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Qualification:

a) Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/
Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Optometry or equivalent
b) Preferably experience specialized in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent
c)

Required language(s):
English, Bahasa Malaysia
d) Fresh graduate are welcome to join
d) Perform vision tests

Skill/Training:

a) Excellent communication skills
b) an interest in health and a desire to improve people's quality of life
c) to be able to work with precision
d) an ability to put nervous patients at ease
e) to be able to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
f) to be able to adapt to new equipment and techniques
g) to be well organised

Knowledge:

a) Examining the eyes for problems
b) Providing care and treatment
c) Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses

Fresh graduate are welcome to join.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay:
RM3, RM4,500.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Seri Kembangan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
