As one of the most crucial roles not just of any finance team, but any company, the Senior Accountant / Accountant job description is a dynamic role with a multitude of responsibilities, including:

  • Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i


e:
AP & AR process, monthly balance sheet and income statement schedules, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)

  • Work closely with the Singapore HQ in preparing the monthly reporting packages to the Group, bank reconciliation and cash flow statements, intercompany reconciliation, AR/AP statements, PL Analysis and etc;
  • Assist in all financerelated matters. This includes maintaining finance records, reconciliation, and managing the administration of finance processes.
  • Assisting the Group Senior Finance Manager in implementing the new changes in Financial Reporting Standards, and the accounting practices alignment.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
  • Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
  • Undertake adhoc projects and any other job duties, which may be assigned from time to time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA)
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Team player with the ability to manage crossfunctional relationships and multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and able to meet deadline for reporting
  • Openminded, eager to learn and able to adapt to a fastpaced working environment
  • Indepth computer skills within accounting software (e.g. Netsuite, SAP) and Microsoft office
  • Big 4 experience is preferred
