Create & test recipes to achieve profitable, competitive quality products and documenting recipes with yields

Create a checklist for products, budget & cost control
Assist with production strategies, menu creations, operations, and analytics
Maintain sanitary conditions consistent with state and local sanitation requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to fully understand and consider our brand, menu, operations, and staffing model
Make suggestions for marketing materials for advertising and menu presentations
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive and independent.
Remedy any problems or defects
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers

Requirements:

Proven experience as Fusion Chef
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Experienced in food purchasing, organization and logistics
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Uptodate with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Knowledge of menu development, recipe creation & development of Western/Asian cuisine
35 years of proven experience cooking in a professional kitchen and/or in Research & Development; Western/Asian cuisine chef experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related degree preferred
Flexible, easygoing, reliable, motivated and demonstrating a professional demeanour
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Organised, ability to selfmanage, strong time management skills and deadline oriented and ability to solve complex problems
Able to work on weekends/public holidays
Able to start immediately is an added advantage

Salary:
RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
